Seven people including a policeman were killed and 15 others injured in a powerful suicide car bomb blast in Peshawar, Aaj News reported.

According to the channel, the suicide car bomber hit his explosive-laden vehicle near a police check-post in Pishtakhara as a result seven people were killed including a policeman and 15 others were injured.

Several vehicles were damaged and windows of nearby buildings were smashed, the channel added.

The injured are being rushed to the hospital. Emergency has been imposed in Lady Reading and other hospitals of the city.
